Whenever this stuff comes up I always think of Cesar Sayoc. They hired a top psychiatrist to decimate his character, one Harrison 'Skip' Pope. Part of that was in portraying him as a wacko conspiracy theorist for believing that George Soros was funding anti Trump protests and that the Democrats were out to get Trump.

All of the revelations have proven Sayoc was bang on the money and not a deluded man at all. Why did they need to destroy him like that?
