DOJ has opened criminal case into the beef processing cartel now (it might turn into RICO and/or antitrust). It appears to be a REPLAY from 04JUN2020: https://www.fooddive.com/news/report-4-major-meatpackers-subpoenaed-in-doj-antitrust-investigation/579266/

They have also indicted (or are about to) for fraud several executives from the company that was driving up egg prices in 2024 from what I understand. Price-fixing investigation from March 2025: https://www.politico.com/news/2025/03/07/doj-investigation-egg-price-fixing-bird-flu-00218785
