What concerns me is that they are likely still liberal in their core thinking and beliefs and will serve to dilute/liberalize a more conservative movement. And before I am accused of being overly pessimistic, allow me to state my perspective. It is said that there are two types of people, those who see the glass being as half full, and those who see the glass as being half empty. Due to life experience I adopt a third view of things. Not only is the glass half empty, but we are experiencing a massive evaporation issue.
If conservatives can get control of major sectors of society, particularly media and education, that core thinking will change over time.
One can only hope, just don't forget the evaporation issue.
