These days, when I think of Willie and Farm Aid, I can't help but know that the motherfucker is an open borders, illegal alien advocate who is perfectly fine with "aiding farmers" to allow them to hire those same illegal aliens to work on their multi-million dollar farms. Lucas Replied first, he said that " Dad is an old dude and stands with a position from his youth" So he said " Old Party Democrats " . I get that. He then went on to say that the exchange with 'Mexican help or infiltration' was one of multi generations as well. This I did not know or consider. Lucas said that " Dad , being from Austin had known that many of the cattle farmers had generations of family that 'commuted " . . .
This was a surprise to me , Lucas said that the families regularly traveled north for the care of the heard and traveled south to with the family on a regular basis. I NEVER , heard about that such migration. For fields, yes, but not for cattle. The trade he said is just about gone, due to ECONOMICS , NOT the border deal ! We not only laughed at it, but just about cried, because it makes so much sense it hurts all of us. And that was the binding part of the conversation. All the conflict hurts both parties. Lucas is just as sad and he emphasized the same concerns as he is on the road, playing positive music and mesages. God Bless you brother !
