I didn't get upset. I don't know why you're saying that I did.
I also never mentioned any specific denominations so I'm not sure why you're making that straw man.
My position is simply that the church as a whole (meaning Christianity) started and runs the backbone of Charity in this nation and before the government took over it used to be almost exclusively responsible for charity from food banks to orphanages. (Back before it cost thousands of dollars to adopt a child by the way)
It also founded every major educational institution in the United States and hospital that's over 100 years old.
Yeah my entire comment was about charity being the sphere of private organizations like churches and that the government takeover being about creating a dependent voter base.
There are other options, I just don't want the government to be an option at all. For charity, education, healthcare or anything really that our founder's didn't explicitly state.
Your original comment just seemed to be downplaying the role of the church currently and historically and that's something we need to avoid. Getting back to our Christian foundational principles is key. America is a Christian nation. (This was affirmed in the supreme Court case Holy Trinity v United States) That's what made us great.
Secularism got us to the point we are at now. It's clearly failed.
Christ is king. Only by submitting to God will we MAGA.

Ok, text can be hard for tone.. glad if you weren't upset.
I agree with your statement about the Church(es). I was simply saying there are other options out there for people, beside the government teat.
