There are plenty of Trump supporters on food stamps. There are anons here who are on assistance now, or have been in the past.
We need to stop acting like the only people on food stamps/Medicaid/Section 8 are liberals or illegals. That’s simply not reality. We are not perfect, and pretending otherwise just makes us look like hypocrites.
Check the states with the highest per-capita assistance usage — Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas. Are those all Democrat states? Of course not. Acting like financial struggle is exclusively a “liberal problem” is just denial.
And yes, there are Trump supporters upset about losing food stamps. You can see it in comment sections everywhere, if you’re paying attention. If this is truly an elite research board, we should be aware of facts, not just what makes us feel like we're winning.
Plus dozens of Trump-voters complaining in news and social media comment sections right now.
To be clear: I am not criticizing President Trump. And I’m not defending people whining about benefits. That’s not the point.
The point is that pretending no Trump supporters ever use or need assistance makes us look out of touch or delusional. We’ve always had patriots here who have temporarily needed help. They used programs responsibly and got back on their feet, nothing shameful about that.
We don’t need to act like every Trump supporter is financially bulletproof. Life happens. People struggle. Some anons here have been in that position or have family who are. That’s just reality.
Ignoring that reaity, or pretending Trump supporters never complain about losing benefits, just makes us look delusional and/or ignorant of current affairs.

And some who need lifelong help. My parents (in their 70s) are lifelong conservatives and are on all of the government programs, disability, social security, Section 8, food stamps, etc (and have been for about 40 years). The reason is that my father is partially paralyzed due to having had a bunch of strokes (he had his first stroke at age 12), and my mother has to stay home to take care of him (and isn't in such great health herself).
There are also veterans on EBT because they got permanently disabled in the line of duty. Yes, there are a lot of people who abuse the system, like the ones who have a bunch of children out of wedlock to increase the amount of EBT money they get, but not everyone on EBT is doing it to game the system. Some of them genuinely need it.
Very true. I'm sorry about your parents. I'm also sorry with how so many of our fellow anons are demonizing people who need that help.
Yes, there are many people who abuse the system. But not everyone who is on assistance abuses it and not everyone who abuses it are democrats/liberals/illegals.
I never said every single recipient was a republican. But the numbers alone say that there are Trump supporters on food stamps when every state with the most food stamp recipients per capita are republican states.
It just takes one to disprove the statement that there are no Trump voters on food stamps, not every single one. Understand?

Well, you listed the actual people the program was designed for. It wasnt meant to be a political tool but the dems made it si.
Just because the state is red doesnt mean the recipient is.
