My dad wouldnt let us have the free cheese and peanut butter in the 70s. Almost the entire hood had it.

Granny lived in the hood (wasn't the hood back in its heyday) - would get the gummint cheese and those YUGE cans of beans - they HAD to be a solid gallon of fart seeds in that massive can!
That cheese was like a denser Velveeta....made some tasty grilled cheeses...
