WWI and II were likely actually against Prussia, not “Germany”.
Have seen that claim on WWII, and suspect it’s probably true to some extent or another, but the truth also pretty much always seems to be somewhere in the middle with multiple factions pushing in multiple directions on both sides. Good to be aware of, at the least.
