And he just raised the price to hire them moving forward by $100,000 a head. They’ve dominated the field for so long we have to admit there’d be no realistic way to quickly replace them if they all left today because it’s precisely because they dominated that field for so long that so few of us even bothered looking into a career in that field and failed to get educated for it as a result. Making them expensive weeds out hiring them just cause they’re cheap (which is how they came to dominate the field in the first place) while still allowing us to hire truly talented people that would actually make us better and fill the gap for a while until more of we natives enter that field and render them unnecessary.
