Elderly relative recently stopped taking the statin that doctor prescribed; PCP knows about this stoppage and reasons why. The INSURANCE company called and wanted to know why the RX wasn’t being picked up from the pharmacy and also the reason for the relative no longer taking the RX. Has anyone else had this experience?
The Republicans were in on passing the ACA. The fact that not one Republican voted for that Brobdingnagian monstrosity too big to read proves nothing. The Republicans didn't vote for it because they didn't have to. The Democrats had the votes to pass it so the RINOs could vote no and still look like righteous patriots (including he who shall never be named). I saw it happen, and I knew what was going on.
Controlled opposition. The dark beauty of the "2-party system" (not imagined by our forefathers) is that it doesn't matter which party is on the back foot if you control them both. Either one can play the part. The sincere indignation of naive non-legacy politicians who aren't yet in the club (i.e. not yet blackmailed or bribed) are still useful for messaging through emotional propaganda.
Thank God for President Trump. Against all odds (seemingly), he got in their sandbox and started breaking their toys. He's far from done. All this crap is going away.
