We can't hang our hats on that, Optimus is going to automate trucking because it's low hanging fruit. Illegals dominated that industry and Trump was right to limit that, but it doesn't change the fact that the reason it happened is because we have a shortage of qualified drivers. Even without that, the profit motive is just too strong. We have to take into account that trucking companies exist because of cities. Shutting down trucking is shutting down American businesses.

Fast food was a job you got in High School, now it's illegals doing it. Why? Because as a high schooler, I wouldn't have applied for a job where I don't speak the language the rest of the workers do. When there's a break, or social time, I want to be able to communicate and connect.
I have family in the trucking industry... truckers used to be the "gentlemen of the highway". Now they are a blood bath. My family talks of crime at the truck stops, having to be walked out to the truck by security because of the threats by illegal truckers to them, having their showers they paid for stolen from them... they are all about retirement age, but thinking of retiring early. They fear for their safety and it's not fun anymore for them.
I don't think it's jobs Americans won't do, it's Americans can no longer do due to safety and connection.
Heck, that's why Americans aren't doing construction anymore. What other industries have they taken over and Americans can't do anymore because they value their safety, security, being paid fairly (they can pay illegals less because the illegals are government supported and take cash under the table), and connection.
I think if truck driving becomes an American, Gentlemen of the Highway again, Americans will come back to it.

My only question is: before or after the midterms. They know that they are going to get crushed in the midterms when voter ID and other election integrity laws are passed. I think both Rogan and Beck are controlled opposition attempting to plant seeds of doubt and I will no longer listen to either. They first come out as supporting MAGA and then they start questioning things. We can’t let people like this divide us or even get us talking about a civil war, which as we know is exactly what the demonrats want. We must continue supporting the President and trust the plan, which in no way includes civil war and in fact is quite the opposite.
