If they state they have no income, yep. If they claim they work odd jobs for cash, yep.
If they say they are getting "help" from family and friends, or "voluntary" child support, then someone, anyone can write a statement claiming just about anything they want and we have to accept it.
We are not supposed to burden the "client", but do everything we can to help them get benefits.
Ok, its the same in AZ but you know as well as I do, when QC picks that fraudulent case up, they will verify the info given was not correct, then you have an error. Over 6% error rate in the next fy will result in the state having to fund a portion of theor Issuance and I know AZ cant do it. It would be the end of snap.
We have been getting the "talks" about the 6% error rate and how we have to pay attention to our cases. I don't see it making a big difference. Too many of the case workers are too lazy to do the job because they have been told to close their eyes and authorize!
