Long story short: Enlisted members have a duty to obey orders. Officers have a duty to make sure those orders are lawful. - Congress members were addressing everyone, enlisted and officers. Telling officers to not obey unlawful orders, fine. Same to enlisted, not fine.

The idea of liberals assuming their agendas are "lawful" orders as the mirror that all military should follow is as patently absurd as the idea of more than two genders..
As we vets know, there are valid definitions of 'unlawful' orders and the UCMJ covers them.
I feel silly for even looking into it but with all the media fiasco I wanted to know what is what being that I have not served and don't know. It is clearly black and white (as it should be) but media would have us believe otherwise.
It's a good writeup. It's good to know about the two different oaths, and to share that info. But the author says these oaths are in the constitution, which is false. (If anyone thinks I'm mistaken, please let me know where it is in the constitution because I couldn't find it.)
Unfortunately he doesn't weigh in on whether he thinks that video is sedition or not. I think it is.
LanceCorporal here and I gave Lawful Orders but never Direct since that is for Officers. A Lawful Order could be disobeyed and referred to Corporal or Sarge. A Direct Order if Given was only disobeyed at your Rank's Peril. If this was intended for NONCOMS or Higher, It did not sound that way and should call for Court Martial.
I think of acts that are criminal not done under a declaration of war or military action in response to an act of war. Would it be a crime in our western civilized society? Would it be a crime under a threat to a person’s life?
I think poisoning and/or killing Americans with food, water, spraying aerosols in the atmosphere, poison medicine, poison vaccinations, weather modification, geo-engineering or allowing foreign nationals to enter the U.S. illegally (an invasion force) and systematically kill Americans done without a declaration of war is THE CRIME! Is the illegal order! As is allowing illegal drugs to be smuggled & peddled in the U.S. All the while stealing & profiting off these crimes!
It is TREASON, in my opinion for our political opponents who are countrymen & women to perpetrate, support and enable the above crimes to happen in order to continue their evil acts and subvert the Constitution. Those are the real
unlawful and illegal orders! And when they speak glowingly of the Law, knowing how they subvert it, I truly believe they are declaring war on me!
