Congress has the Constitutional authority to tax.
The only thing that might be unConstitutional about the 16th Amendment is the very questionable way it was ratified.
Yes but this is somewhat akin to saying the only thing wrong with these beautiful, perfect, handmade shoes is that they are three sizes too small.
The illegal ratification makes the amendment null and void, for Step 1. Then, besides that, money earned from labor is not "income" in the way the Founders envisioned; you traded hours of your life for that money; it was a fair exchange; you didn't profit. So no taxable income there.
I'm not disagreeing. I'm repeating what I've heard and saying "but I haven't seen the evidence personally".
But if this is correct there won't be any "We're reducing Income Tax", the statement will be "It's invalid" or "It's not invalid".
Their right to do it was not exercised. They illegally forced it upon us. Tje founders NEVER gave congress the right to tax income. Why, because any idiot who has an income being taxed should know thats slavery and no profit is gained when u worked for it. As zero delta points.out.

I said to someone on this very board the other day that Lincoln was an epic tyrant and that he provoked the War Between the States deliberately. He came back with the usual Saint Lincoln BS. I didn't bother to correct him since it would have disrupted the main thread, but people need to understand HOW history is researched and validated. Sadly, most don't.
