When I married my current husband I was working making not a whole lot a year. He was in the middle of a divorce which she drug on for no reason other than to hurt him because they were fighting over nothing but debt.
He had two child support orders, one to the first and second wife and alimony to the second. Before you judge the two women cheated on him is why he left. His paychecks were dismal at best.
Every month I gave to three charities I think $25 each a month. One day I came home and said to him God told me I have to give all three of my charities $100 each.
He looked at me like I was absolutely crazy and said where do you think we can come up with that kind of money. He then said I trust what you are feeling in your heart.
I said I don't know but I'm going to do it because God told me to do it.
Three days after I sent the checks I received a phone call from the place that I purchased my used vehicle about a week or so before.
They said they forgot to give me something when I took my used car home.
They told me to come by and pick up my Visa credit card for $300.
You never go in debt for Christmas ever.
When I was young with two children and had very little money this is how I did Christmas.
Starting in August or September I would buy a present once a week or every other week depending on my cash flow.
I would wrap them when I purchased them.
By November my Christmas shopping was done and wrapped.
Not taking any debt, just uncomfortable to lose the last little cushion I had left. God always provides I know that
You are correct.
Every time I did not have something by the grace of God and God alone it showed up
Keep the faith.
I just thought of a story.
