We need to stop our dependence on technology. We need to do away with most of the internet. It should be reserved for only essential communications, and accessed by those who are trusted. For hundreds of years, we did great with just the newspaper. We need to get back to that. The inundation of technology is rotting our brains and our morals. When you work with your hands all day, you get a pretty good sense of what is right and fair, but the internet is ruining a whole generation. It is also making us infertile. Look at the stats, anywhere internet usage increases, fertility decreases. Every single time. I hope once the great awaking happens, that access to the internet will be restricted, if not outright banned. I even question whether is electricity has been good for us. It has made us unconscionably lazy.
Ted was right but let’s be honest that’s unrealistic. You can’t put the genie back in the bottle. And anyone who uses it regardless will have the upper hand.
That's not true. That's like saying we couldn't put the genie back in the bottle after heroine started being manufactured and sold over the counter at pharmacies. It was made illegal without a prescription, and while there is some that still use it, you can't just buy it at your local pharmacy anymore. The government can step in, decide protocols, regulate the infrastructure, and restrict it. Just like how opioids are only used when medically necessary, the internet should be treated the same. No more recreational use just to feel good.
Small businesses existed long before the internet, and in fact, were dominant before the internet. Look around where you live. Local shops and stores are going out of business because of the massive online retail giants. The Elites control the internet, and it is their ultimate source of power. The internet may make it seem like it gives the small guy a leg up, but in reality, they collect data on what you do, then try to out compete you while knowing everything about your business model. Small businesses are being wiped out in massive numbers, while these big corporations are pushing for gig style work, where you take all the risk of being a small business, with all the extra rewards going to the big companies.
It's all of them. Even low capital businesses, like house cleaning or lawn mowing. Big businesses are using the data they collect (from you), to move in, outcompete the little guys with low prices, then crank them up when there is no one left. A lot of online hustlers will tell you that you can be rich by renting out dump trailers or whatever, but none of the little guys are making money on that.

I see your point. But that’s making a trade off that will return power back to the elites.
I am an entrepreneur. The internet has allowed the small guy to setup a business for themselves.

Those are small local physical businesses that require more captial to start.
