But it does not seem to meet the threshold of what would be considered defamatory - even though it feels that way. Basically, they said you didn't fit with their organization. Perhaps you weren't woke enough for their taste. They are allowed to make that assessment as are all employers.
Knowing this is part of your record, and other perspective employers will also come across it, you may have to think of strategies to do some mitigation during the hiring process - especially if your employment record is good with other employers. You have to sell yourself and highlight the good things. Try to see if you can think of what their problem with you was, and try to offset that going forward.
