Typical time from criminal indictment to end of appeal without an expedited process, tribunals, or group trial of some sort. Most corporations will settle. Especially egregious behavior (beef processing) needs to see individual indictments, trials, and sentencing as a VERY PUBLIC example. Probably, only 1 person punished harshly and publicly will get the message across, and everyone else will capitulate and start singing.
I think I'm just ready for the military to determine that the corruption of the country is way beyond the President's ability to fix, and way beyond the court system to fix in a timely manner, and Trump should therefore declare Martial Law until the country is cleaned up, or 12 months, or whichever comes first. Re-evaluate in 12 months. Fuck it. We need a cleansing. And we're not capable of doing it to ourselves, because the web of influence is too strong among those committing the crimes.
