Trump has bluntly stated he wants some gone. I believe 90% of them are on welfare on steroids, at least in minnesota. It's been reported that 50% lied on their immigration papers. That means another 50% was helping them with the lying, like a sister marrying a brother. However, 90% of them in Minnesota are US citizens now. Do you think Trump really intends to remove the citizenship of tens of thousands of these people and send them back?
Many of them have been here for decades,
Don't say what you think should happen, say what you think really is going to happen please.
Somalis and Haitians are unable to contribute to civilization. [There are exceptions, such as those with French blood.]
I do not know what the Good Lord wants us to do for these people, but it is OBVIOUSLY not bringing them here! We have also tried to "reform" their corrupt governments, to our cost and dismay. The corruption siphons off even charitable humanitarian aide to prevent starvation. WE give aide, the people still starve, and the corruption continues.
THE MORE WE GIVE IN FOREIGN AND HUMANITARIAN AIDE, THE DEEPER THE CORRUPTION GOES. We are NOT benefiting "starving humanity" by our gifts, but ENSURING THEIR SLAVERY! And we need to stop our bleeding-hearts from making the situation WORSE!
It is made worse by "charity" via dollars, rather then missionaries on the ground who are willing to give HOPE to the people in the Name of Jesus Christ. But the churches decided to stop "converting" people but just to "feed them" with dollars sent to corruption.
So I take it back, I think I DO know what the Good Lord wants us to do for these people: bring their hearts to the Lord. AmIRite?

Dambisa Moyo's background - "Ms. Moyo was named by Time Magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World", and was named to the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders Forum" - seems a bit sketchy, but she still seems to be saying sensible things in that book.
And then there are things like an old article from Spiegel titled "SPIEGEL Interview with African Economics Expert: "For God's Sake, Please Stop the Aid!"
(copy and paste doesn't seem to work for any link straight to that article, or for any articles at least for me anymore, but you can easily find it by searching with that title)
The name of the expert is James Shikwati. A Kenyan who has been speaking against such aid for years.
And you can easily enough find more than a few similar opinions by Africans, pleading to stop all that help that isn't actually helping anybody but some of their corrupt leaders. Although maybe that has been the whole point...
The aid has only artificially increased their numbers. They have been breeding beyond their capacity to even feed themselves for decades.
The continent with the greatest resources, squandered on people who couldn’t even be bothered to dig wells or do basic subsistence farming.
