Is anybody else getting sued for old debts in small claims court?

All of a sudden I'm getting sued for old debts that have been sold. Dont need any advice since I'm a paralegal. But just curious.

It could be a scam. Tell them to send you it in writing and I think if it’s over a certain number of years, they can’t claim it unless you admit to it., so never admit to owning any debt.
