I work in staffing and we have developed AI bots to search for key words/concepts on applicants social media posts. I hate it, but surprisingly, I'd be okay with this for this purpose. We have enough people that hate the US here already. We don't need any more. Especially now that we know they intend to disappear into the country, overstay their visa, and mooch off of our welfare programs.

Well they already do to an extent, they already do this lite for naturalization purposes. Source: witnessed it myself! But, they did not pry past fakebook back then. Which interestingly, the article backs up by quoting the state department requesting that all VISA applicants (apparently ESTA filers too) "make their social media profiles public"
