That would be crazy if my Momâs garlic allergy was some sort of vaccine reaction. I lived through many tough years as that caused her some sort of brain reaction of irrational anger and sleepiness. It happened around 89-90
Yes, I spent much time praying about this because for the longest time we had no idea what was going on and it was very severe. Anger within 30 minutes and sleepiness maybe within an hour and it would normally last the rest of the day.
Garlic allergy could be a sulfite intolerance. Other triggers are: anything in the allium family (onions, garlic, leeks, etc.); anything in the brassica family (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, etc.); high fructose corn syrup; caramel coloring.
Ginger is another trigger we learned besides garlic in 30 years. I donât know of anything else that seriously causes a similar reaction but this is interesting to note.
I have to avoid sulfites (a type of preservative) and I have no problem eating foods in the allium or brassica family. I do avoid corn syrup (due to gmo's). Sulfur isn't the same as sulfites (e.g. sodium benzoate)

I have to avoid everything in my list. It's not fun -- doesn't leave much else to eat. âšď¸
Could âgarlic allergyâ = peri/menopause?
