I never heard of the measles parties. I do remember the chickenpox parties though. Those are probably why the stupid shingles vaccine is pushed so hard. They pushed info that if you had chickenpox the virus lies dormant but can reemerge decades later as shingles.

Isn't it coincidental how a vaccine comes out to "stop shingles" around the same time that the generation that had chickenpox parties is now at the age where shingles usually happens?
