Not feeling like Christmas at all this year for me
I get that! I’ll ad you to my prayers. God knows what you need and everything is in his timing. I know this but deep down it’s hard to accept for most including myself. After my grandparents died (a year a part) I didn’t put up a tree for ten years. They were more like parents. I went through the motions buying gifts but my heart wasn’t in it. Then all of sudden one year I started back & enjoyed it. This year we decided not to decorate, lots of reasons & didn’t want to spend the energy on getting everything out. I just started shopping last week🤦🏻♀️ thanks to internet I’m done. The only thing I’m doing that I haven’t done in years is cooking. I’m going to attempt to cook enough sweet treats to share with family. I miss cooking, we mostly eat meat & eggs. I hope you have good Christmas. Wishing you blessings instead of over commercialism Christmas. Don’t beat yourself up over not feeling it.
