These are the kinds of women who have a few liberal American born “Muslim” friends who go out to bars and drink with them and haven’t the faintest clue what thier religion is really about. The equivalent of “culturally Catholic”. They think that reflects the entire group and that enacting sharia law is just some conspiracy theory.

I've never been to New York. BUT...if I were to judge by Chicago standards -- I'd say these dippy women are in a trendy bar. There's one of those leather lounges in the background and tables. However there are tablecloths -- so it isn't some dive.
Judging by the number of glasses on their table -- they've had more than a few which, accounts for the unladylike behavior. I don't like drunkards. I find women drunkards to be even more unsavory.
