I’m curious if anyone here knows why a modified form of folate is prescription only? B vitamins are water soluble so what is the danger in making this over the counter?
I get the methylated folate. Will see if that is the same as folinic acid. What made you decide on that particular form of folate.

I buy folinic acid, the bioavailable form of folic acid on Amazon.

My health care provider recommended as an aid for sleeping through the night without waking up. It's worked well for that.
