As we head into Christmas season there is only ONE sacrifice that holds weight. The one given by our Father in Heaven. Many, during this season, have a decoration, a cross, with a babe lying in a crib sounded by angels and musical horns. As Jesus was born in the shadow of the cross. For the cross. The ultimate sacrifice God had prepare for everyone, to save the world. For eternity. Those who accept this free gift. What sacrifices could man do to even compare for a fraction of what God has already done? I wonder what Flynn was referring to as a “real sacrifice”. Who was he relating to as “not” a real sacrifice. Today’s leaders? Americans? I know it can’t be our Lord Jesus. As he’s a man of faith from what I recall. So who? Point being. This world has all kinds of opportunities for men to destroy their bodies an ideals on. Life ending decisions. Was it for God. Or for ideas of a worldly nature? Sometimes it just to save a life. And scripture mentions this. The Bible is clear his this ends. “All nations”. And Jesus still wins. And those who follow Him. And only Him.
