Nah, 18 and up for everything not just body modification, don't need a slippery slope twisting the law saying no tattoos or boob jobs next. Pistols, cigarettes, beer, lighters I don't care. If you're old enough to go to war feel free to do other stupid shit as an adult. I encourage adults to "transition" if they want because they can't breed and everyone knows immediately to stay away from them. It's not society's job to protect someone else's offspring. I didn't have it all figured out at 18 but I knew chopping off my genitals was a bad idea. If someone's kid isn't ready to make adult decisions at 18 it's not my responsibility to coddle them. If your adult child changes their gender, oh well, those terrible parents don't deserve grandchildren and that family line should probably end.
It's harsh but raising a generation of weak men is what got us to where we are.
