I am proud to be a Swiss supporter of Yen.
Help me out here. The Web translated the article for me, but I'm not getting the "bouncy".
"What would specifically change the revised bouncy for Proton?"
That word, bouncy is used at least twice in the article. Would you be so kind as to provide a more accurate translation?
Bouncy is the automatic translation for « Vüpf » which actually is an acronym for the « revised communication surveillance law ».
LOL that's hilarious.
Thank you for the translation.
I checked for you, because I assumed it was in reference to a bouncer or proxy server type technological term but it appears not...
I suspect it's referring to a more generalized term for "legal framework" / law which may not be translated elegantly.
It's actually a fairly strange use of the term bouncy. Wish I could help more. 🤷♂️
Thanks for the time and effort.
Possibly "policy" would be a good translation?
