I've always been intrigued by this clock and the knowledge it carries with it from the old world. For those like me, who also enjoy investigating what the proverbial "machine" would have you believe is "just a vestige" of the past, like this clock - You are already aware of the fact that EVERY TIME these animals from UNESCO, The British Museum, The Smitsonian or other seemingly "benevolent" organization, uses the term "Restoration", what they're REALLY DOING is DESTROYING history in order to hide, obscure or eliminate historical artifacts. It's repugnant.
The Prague astronomical clock is no exception. They did a "restoration/repair" job after it was bombed in WW2 - circa 1945. But MOST of the original parts, the artwork etc, seemed to have been left intact and original. In 2018 however, they REALLY f'd up the clock royal. They even crafted a story, calling it a "scandal" - focused on the "mostly unimportant" paintings and COMPLETELY ignoring (as to not draw attention to) the clock face, tranitioning from a UN logo style face, showing the continents layed out flat for some globe with a net over it.
Regardless of your thoughts about the shape of the realm we inhabit - the fact of the matter is, they removed functionality from the clock, showing the "time zones" as they relate to geography. Now there's just a dumbed down stupid AT&T globe logo in the middle that has NO function whatsoever. Why? Why would they do this? My thought is that there MUST be some reason why...and I'll leave that up to you to decide what that could be.
The mechanical clock and astronomical dial, dates back to 1410. It is an incredible achievement and a beautiful work of art. The clock mechanism has three main components – the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; statues of various Catholic saints stand on either side of the clock; "The Walk of the Apostles", an hourly show of moving Apostle figures and other sculptures, notably a figure of a skeleton that represents Death, striking the time; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months.
This is just one more example of the ongoing war on our history and the constant "projects" to erase ANYTHING that points to our past. Like gas station type roofing over Gobekli Tepe to "protect" the site, which dates back 15,000 years...from the weather & elements...They even DESTROYED part of the site to put in the uprights for the stupid roof sections...and then of course, the looting of the Iraq Museum of Art by the military and British Museum...and destruction of historical sites there AND in other places like Syria - where "ISIS" and other terrorists (funded by the clowns via Epstein etc, BTW - in case you didn't know) - They blame "terrorists" for the destruction of human history so everyone can just throw their hands in the air like, "Whelp...yanno...terrorists...Whatcha gonna do?" and it's just left like that.
It really makes you wonder WHY they are so hell bent on destroying any reference to our past say, pre-1850. There's PLENTY that doesn't add up...in EVERY country.
Probably they don’t want us to discover a big secret they are hi ding from us, it can be technology or past or they are the same evil folks using the water of youth who knows. They are Satan disciples so they have power or they are friking vampires coming back over and over. I just know they feed from human blood
Thank you for this. I’m deeply sympathetic to all dedicated antiquarians. Been interested in ancient calendars, ancient metrology, and ancient astronomy for a long time. My library was once vast and varied. There remain many resources for deep exploration of how and what our ancestors thought of our place in the cosmos which to some degree point out that we moderns are the ignorant savages mired in superstition. It’s all in common use but goes unrecognized, like the names of our days for instance. I’m firmly convinced, after a long and deeply curious life of inquiry that our world truly is the “center” of the universe, regardless of Jupiters many moons, and humanity is and always was the “reason” for the entirety of creation. It’s all necessary for us to have been possible. We are the crown of creation. Our struggle for discernment and ultimate understanding is, in my humble opinion the whole point. Cynics might say we’re the punchline of the cosmic joke, but personally I consider our creator, (the maker of heaven and earth and all things visible and invisible to quote the creed) is foremost omnibenevolent, as well as omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. He’s also ineffable. We can’t even hope for more than a hint. We can’t handle the Truth. Faith is far superior to knowledge.
I've personally found that knowing trumps faith and belief.
It's entirely possible to KNOW many things experientially.
While I don't subscribe to everything he puts out there, Tom Campbell, author of My Big TOE(TOE = Theory of Everything) certainly has some very good pointings regarding this realm and your individual point of consciousness...
Let me name drop just a little; John Michell, Livio Stecchini, John Martineau, Robin Heath, etc. etc. There’s a lot of chaff hiding the kernels of wheat in all those books, but the wheat is there. Make good bread of it. They all refer back to Plato and his “World Soul” and the number 5040. (Has its own Wikipedia page, lol). I also get a huge kick out of the Antikithera clockwork computer, and recreations of ancient automata, but suffice it to say humans haven’t gotten smarter over the centuries. Not to even mention Barabar and other anomalous ancient architecture.
Still, I’m most impressed by John 21:11 which according to my current understanding refers to the number 156, the 17th triangular number, which is a reference to Archimedes proofs of π. It means, to me anyway, that Jesus tells the apostles to ignore the Pharisees and Saducees, and convert the Helenics, who would likely have read Archimedes btw, because the Greeks had “natural wisdom” which would be contained by the Gospel without tearing it. Paul went to Athens straight away. See Pseudo Dionysius for what happened there.
Many blessings to you TaQo, and a warm and happy Nativity Feast to you and yours.
I was in church for the Feast of the Nativity this morning. So, yes indeed. And may you and yours enjoy many many years of many many blessings.
Look up the “New Jerusalem Diagram” from John Michell. I was all up in that “sacred geometry” stuff before converting. Also you may find Stan Tenen’s work on the Hebrew alphabet interesting especially his “3:10 Torus Knot” treatise.
I have come to regard all this as a potential distraction, and am trying to stop being a Mr. Smartypants, but those inquiries led me inevitably toward Orthodoxy so they were of inestimable value to me. May your own curiosity result in your finding Truth himself. If it hasn’t already…. God Bless.
I was there in Prague just before it was restored. Not sure if the restoration would even register if I had been there afterwards. However, what I can say is that the plaza below is amazing when the clock does its hourly chime thing and I'd hoped the atmosphere hasn't changed much - its like a big celebration. The view from the top is excellent as well and luckily open when I was there. Really the entire town is a sight I recommend to everyone. The AT&T style globe I didn't think was as bad of a change as the colors - I'm sure its all in attempt to modernize it. Regardless, good post, fren!
Thanks fren - I know this is fringe but everything seems to be tied together.
In terms of THE "Great Awakening" my hope is that some true historical data is revealed to humanity. After all, it IS our history and not solely "theirs"
zero :) - I was there with work for a few weeks - was put up in an excellent business hotel and took the tube to work with others daily. However this was years ago and I'm sure its all changed a bit. On the weekends I was basically on my own or with a couple others for part of a day... and I just saw it all. Just walking the streets lined with 900 year old buildings is amazing. I never did make it to the red-light area (happily married) but I hear its the best around. McDonalds had some crazy shrimp burger thing with a black bun :) - and generally speaking eating out was ridiculously inexpensive - found some great places on my own, but also did an excellent Argentinian BBQ place in the basement of a very old building with a co-worker - we had beers a-plenty as well as steak and other meats similar to Brazilian and total was like $20. I just really enjoyed the architecture - in particular the clock, a few cathedrals, some fancy bridge lined with statues and dudes playing the hurdy-gurdy in old-time garb. I can recommend getting little eat-while-you-walk fruit baskets from any of the street vendors - kind of a rip-off, but at the same time wonderful. Have fun!
Donkeys Inc weren't capable of building ANY stone buildings...shacks like Lincoln are about the extent of their capabilities...
Not only that but bs stories like san francisco allegedly established in 1849, but photos from 1850 show the city COMPLETELY BUILT OUT...with yuge stone buildings with amazing aesthetic WAY beyond the capabilities of gold rushers...

Personally, anything physical/terrestrial is a novelty.
The True-True is in the upper rooms of the temple built without human hands...
Cheers
Why would they do this? They don’t have the technology any longer…
Look no further than the library of congress to see our history being systematically destroyed
Stupid Europeans!

Wow! Just watched a video on YouTube about these 17 hour clocks. Seems we’re having a slow rollout of lost technology.
Loxism.

Think they care about a clock?!! They are wrecking their continent.
They must have cared enough to screw it up vs just burning it down like they did with so many other things...
Yanno?
