People are mostly talking about shiny in general. I don't care about what Trump tweeted years ago. If it was a recent post I would have checked his account, but I don't have the internet skills to check what he said 8 years ago.
If I saw it in 2020,I might have bought some very cheep shiny..... That would have been a win.

Fair enough.
I've been stacking silver for a while, but there are two separate issues here: Silver + how undervalued it has been, market manipulation, relation to fiat, etc AND fake disinformation being spread and shared.

Yeah, I guess some people don't care if stuff is fake or not, like news, for example. Each to his own.
I just found this fake to be really weird. Silver stackers and others who understand the real value of bullion would not be keen to create fake (dis)info, I'd think. Wonder what the rationale was for the person who did it. Personally, I don't think you can advance freedom by spreading lies. You make a fool out of every person who accepts and believes your lie.
Probably some yahoo, who wanted silver to go up. We did have the silver squeeze not long after that.
I don't care, about the Tweet, much cause my silver is bought already and I'm not buying more at this price. And TBH I've been studying silver supply for years, I don't need to Trump to tell me what I know,in this small one case.

Well, yeah, exactly. No one whose paying attention to bullion and fiat etc needs that.
Me tho? I care about people pushing crap. That's all. I didn't need this tweet either. Actually, because of my interest in Ag I wanted to investigate and see if Trump actually said this when I first came across it about 3 or 4 years back.
He didn't.
I'm a bit surprised, I'll confess, that you don't care about this fake disinformation simply because (you think) it doesn't affect you. But each to his own.
Exactly. You saved the image, and did not make an actual screenshot of the tweet. Because it doesn't exist.
LongGame is 100% correct. It's fake.
