The Banksters Are ANGRY!
Classic Cartel Op: They Just SLAMMED Paper #Silver Futures on thin Christmas Eve Session & Widened the China Silver Premium to $8/oz.
You read that correctly. Paper silver is now trading at an $8/oz discount to PHYSICAL SILVER METAL in Shanghai!

Can someone explain this? Why? What's the pro/con?
I don't screw around with paper...only physical....so I don't get it.
u/Pbman2 ?
Incentive to drain the comex and send it East.
Their will be lots of cargo plains flying flying out.
I expect export controls soon, like China is putting in place.
The faster the comex is emptied,is a big win for us.
Ah okay...
Yeah comex is shite...
Found a good video on it.

Thanks - been watching Clive (or at least listening while driving/holiday fagging) - he essentially said that it's an $8 discount vs physical, for paper...but that doesn't make sense to me.
I mean, for S&G, let's say that the price for paper in Shanghai was $78 and comex spot is $70. Shouldn't an "$8 discount" be represented as $62 instead?
That's where my math (and mathS - ALL of them) is dividing by zero...
See what I mean?
Looks like he misspoke. Their is an 8 doller difference in spot price between the two markets. Usually it's small well under a doller as he said. For 8 dollars an ounce you can buy in the US and afford to ship it to Shanghai, and make a nice profit. They probably stand for delivery in the US and sell a short term future in Shanghai. And technically they are buying a futures contract for December delivery in the US,so it's paper that becomes metal.
Insiders use different terms than US.
Ok thanks
