It's more than that. We need to make the world safe for democracy. This is an unpopular opinion around here, but whether we like it or not, we are the world police. We have the privilege and duty to intervene and deal out punishment. No one around here complained with President Trump bombed ISIS or Iran. President Trump is showing the world that America is no longer run by pansy Democrats who flinch at the slightest suggestion of conflict. Venezuela is flooding the US with drugs, killing American citizens. They need to be brought to justice, and President Trump is the man to do it.

We are a Republic, a nation governed by the rule of law.

Yes, we are a republic, but that is not what we spread and that is a key distinction. By erecting democracies, all we have to do to control a country is popular influence. If we went around creating republics, then it would be more difficult to control. I never said we are a democracy, I just said we need to make the world safe for democracy. That's what George Bush (Jr, not his traitorous father) was talking about. He had a really forward looking view.
There is a big difference between being the world's doormat, or the world's piggy bank, and being the world's police.
Which is why President Trump is so refreshing. He's willing to use force, boots on the ground if we have to. No more mister nice guy, no more allowing the enemy to hide in bunkers while they wait for the drones to run out of fuel and have to return.
