Actually Knowledge increases every day. Just look at the progression from the end of the 18th century to the end of the 19th century. Then compare the end of the 19th century to the end of the 20th century.

Motion pictures and television broadcasting were invented as well as radio.
Computers were invented. At first, 5 megabytes of RAM took up a full garage, but by the end of the century, they would have 4 kilobytes of RAM.
The internet was invented.
online shopping was basically invented.
There is much more than this as AI simply takes the knowledge that already existed and spurts it out for reuse.
Ai isnt knowledge increased. It is information output increased. AI can not bring into itself any new information nor can it ascertain or extropolate new information from old. In fact Ai lacks any information that we have yet to program into it. Knowledge increased refers to the new knowledge of the new testament. Such as the great mystery revealed and the power given to men by the new birth.
Knowledge requires understanding. Mostly what we are looking at is an information explosion. The vast majority will access information with no real understanding. See man on the street interviews. Right now I think that we are entering the next level of information overload. A subset of people will better synthesize information using AI that leads to understanding and knowledge. But believing whatever AI tells you without having a sufficient understanding already is fraught with problems.
Of course, my first question would be what are the 42 equations that define everything in the universe? Hint: the most important one is composed of mostly non dimensional variables.
