Seems like we were from 1871 (or before) - 2023.
My focus was on the crime, and the investigation to gather evidence. Part of the problem today is that too much credence is given for optics, but they really do not matter.
With a single arrest, or even several arrests, that approach is certainly accomplishable. With hundreds of thousands of arrests, and intel agencies with sleeper cells, and foreign infiltration spy networks, and widespread previously sympathetic public figures, not to mention potentially devastating economic impacts and widespread emotional public backlash from millions of people, it seems more capable of mattering.
Not saying I’m right here, you certainly know at least your scope much better than me, just throwing out possible impacts for consideration against our nation/world-wide scope.
