Cutting Through the Fog and Conflict Within Current U.S. Republican Politics - The Last Refuge
Prior to the 2012 Republican presidential primary, many conservative Americans -including myself- were confused by the consistent illusion of choice offered in Republican presidential candidates. The Republican Party’s successful installation of Mitt Romne...
This is lovely. It's a very well-written description of what most of us know already. It's very useful for people just getting into politics, but what it doesn't do is tell us how to proceed forward.
If TCH posits that the GOPe will scuttle the Midterms to take out Trump, what's the counter-move? How does MAGA stop the RINOs from throwing elections away? If these people are willing to give up their own seats, willing to give up their power, why don't we just help them do it and replace them with better MAGA people? We just have to get active and fight the battle during the primaries. I've been around long enough to know that's been the key to victory since at least the Tea Party years. Hell, Ross Perot tried that strategy, but was a generation too early to be able to get the momentum he needed.
We need to be talking about how to win, not doomsaying how we're going to lose. If Trump loses, we all lose.
For all you researchers out there, DOGE and this Nick YTer who uncovered the Somali fraud just gave us a golden opportunity. Find the fraud. Publish it. Keep this stuff in the news. Whatever your interest is, dig in. The entire government is corrupt and everyone involved is skimming and scamming. When a Uniparty candidate gets momentum, we need to expose their fraud. None of them is clean. Who's taking money and from whom? The Left are ripping off the social welfare system. Who bought the GOPe? Who's getting the Pharma bucks? Who's getting paid off by the defense contractors? Who's getting the kickbacks from Big Ag, Big Oil, Big Israel, etc? This is where we can turn the tide. Expose the fraud.
Sundance, as astute an observer he is, is still fatalistic. I think one thing that gives me hope moving forward is that more and more people are seeing AND pointing out those on the so-called conservative side who are actively working to divide MAGA. There are more citizen journalists who are seeking out the truth. And even if MSM (FOX included) doesn't give oxygen to these citizen journalists, more people are bypassing their firewalls and seeking this information out directly. As long as more people open their eyes, things can improve.
As far as the short-term solution:
Sadly, we have seen politicians who claim to be MAGA fall prey to the trappings of office (see Greene, Marjorie Taylor), but that is why the House reloads every two years. It is up to the people doing real journalism, and us, to spread the word, and to keep the momentum moving in the right direction.
how do we know that MTG isn't part of a 5GW/kayfabe op? we don't. i watch n wait...
Fair point. The investment windfall she's come into since arriving in Congress, combined with her support of McCarthy during the Speaker hubbub make me suspicious of her, but it is possible it's kayfabe.
members must file financial disclosure forms listing assets, investments, and income sources. Greene’s filings reflect business holdings she or her husband already controlled.
Thank you.

People are so easily moved off the truth. So many weak minded quitters.
There is no "MAGA Split" other than what the media is concocting out of thin air.
Like OP said: they have to divide us for the Left to even have a chance. They have fucked it up so badly, that even the ones with their heads deepest in the sand can see it and feel it in their wallets.
The wallets are the target. Take down the Rothschild system of usury that we call money, and you take down the old guard.
Great read, especially for ILoveIvermectin, as I pointed out to you earlier.
Making sense of the noise! Thank you.
If President Trump loses the 2026 midterms, the position of JD Vance’s brand of conservatism is weakened. While the value of Ron DeSantis brand of conservatism, supported by the old guard, increases.
He assumes, incorrectly, that up until 2028, everything will be standard operating procedure but I don't think that is correct. He is saying that basically nothing different will happen between now and then. Wrong, the golden age is upon us and nothing will ever be the same.
I’m still on team midterms don’t matter and the storm will come BEFORE August 2026.
I thought all we needed to know for 2028 was that Vance is our man. /S
This does nothing more than confirm my opinion that political parties need to be outlawed.
Funding a candidate needs to be limited to the candidate's constituents.
Here is a fascinating comparison between a biological autonomous response, and the CTH article, as a response to the article.
