I have long wondered about Thomas Massie and I've been firmly on the fence in terms of my opinion of him.
No longer.
He complained about Maduro's capture today: https://x.com/RepThomasMassie/status/2007469970364539092
While the White House & the President have done an extremely poor job of explaining to the American people what the attacks on narco boats are really about, Massie knows.
Specifically he knows the two reasons President Trump is doing what he's doing:
-
The Cartels have more influence on the U.S. than nearly every other foreign country. They wield enormous power on American politicians and policy and many of their foot soldiers serve as private assassins on our soil.
-
The hub of Western voter fraud is Venezuela. Dominion is legally based in Venezuela and election data flows through the country.
Trump is destroying the influence of the cartels and crippling international voter fraud.
Thomas Massie KNOWS this. He MUST know this. If he doesn't, he's an imbecile and he doesn't strike me as an imbecile.
So while I long wondered if he was simply a Constitutional Zealot (there are worse things one can be) or simply a deep state gadfly in sheep's clothing, I no longer wonder.
I don’t buy the Massie has no clue explanation. The guy is extremely sharp. He has a background in electrical and mechanical engineering from MIT (the MIT) and has developed solar power for his home in Kentucky. He’s not a dumbass, he’s a brain. Newly remarried since 1st wife’s death - seems a little off.
The road to hell is paved with Ivy League degrees!
That’s sad.
I've thought his wife's death was - uh - suspicious. Shortly after that, Massie changed. It's almost like he is playing ball with the other team now that they drafted him - against his will.
It reminds me of a certain car wreck in Georgia in December 2020.
I had the exact same thoughts.
