Hubris isn't being justifiably proud of one's achievements, or taking a victory lap. It's a trap that evil lays for a person who is successful. The more successful, the more care is required (because you become a target more and more).

Watching the launch of Nick Shirley merch, and him getting interviewed and tauted, I'm thinking:

OK, Nick, just don't get too cocky. Some humility goes a long way.

For youth, its easy to get cocky, but its a perilous path.

Of course, if he has some solid but silent backers <wink, wink>, he may just be playing the role...

In any case, he is probably up for a presidential award of some description at some point?
