The only people that kept their purchasing power were those who bought and safely hid silver and gold. A few of them also got rich on Bitcoin when it was new getting it through computer games lile Runescape.
In fact making and selling accounts on MMO games was a way a lot of venezuelans with internet access made money in the 2000-2010s.
