There is a video of the aftermath where a man claiming to be a doctor demands to be allowed to render assistance or to at least pronounce death officially.
JMHO...I doubt any physician in their right mind would do that: the threat of law suits is astronomical (their malpractice insurance won't cover them) let alone the fact they wouldn't have the necessary equipment nor expertise. As a former paramedic, it was surprising how many thoroughly unqualified bozos come out of the woodwork to play hero at many of the trauma scenes I attended. I once actually had some asshole claiming he could calm down an elderly patient with multiple fractures from a nasty car accident (I was in the car with her & 2 other dead victims... I had to crawl in through a window) because he was a "licensed" hypnotist! The police got rid of him before I grabbed his neck.
