I disagree with this interpretation of events.
President Trump has been methodically challenging the constitutionality that a select group of unelected officials are independent from the Executive Branch, and; therefore, do not answer to the voters. The Fed Chairman is the most powerful and consequential of these positions.
This investigation isn’t about something that Powell refused to do 21 days ago. This investigation is about challenging an unconstitutional act that happened 112 years ago.
Agreed. If Powell lied to congress, then he is going to be prosecuted. Fed Chairmen are not above the law. Nobody is above the law. This unconstitutional unaccountable 3 letter agency must go. By the way, it is neither Federal nor a Reserve.
The USA was literally captured and enslaved by the Federal Reserve set up on Jekyll Island 113 years ago. It was an aggressive war act propagated upon the American people. When everyone finally understands the heinous bargain passed by Woodrow Wilson and the 63rd Congress called the Federal Reserve Act, passed by and for Democrats they will be calling for the walls to be torn down. Central Banks and the Fed are not your friends and are truly Unconstitutional.
More than that 200 billion trump pumped from the TREASURY moved interest rates. We are sliding off the federal reserve as we speak.
Powell is trying to create a Cathedral to Crony Capitalism and setting himself up as the High Priest. It would be a shame if somebody interrupted his coronation and put him out of a job and rolled most Fed functions under the Treasury in alignment with the Constitution.
