Interesting! Thanks. I didn't know it was safe to take internally. A new friend was telling me she is on thyroid medication and she thinks she needs her dose elevated because she's been 'low energy.' (like Jeb!) I'll tell her about this. But I thought that once you started on thyroid meds you had to take them the rest of your life? But your doctor actually got off them? Do you know how she did that - like, did she have to wean herself off?
You only need the thyroid meds for life if you’ve had your thyroid removed.
Oh, I see. I don't think my friend knows that. Thanks! Actually, do you have any information of what it would do to just stop taking them? Like, either cold turkey or even weaning off them. I'm curious if she would even notice much difference.

She told me she got off them. I don't know that she weaned off them. My doc is very accepting to homeopathic alternatives, which makes her willing to listen to things that go against what she was taught and do the research to find the truth.
