U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro explains exactly what happened with Fed Chairman with Jerome Powell.
They sent him a letter THREE times asking about the $1 billion cost overruns for the renovation of the Federal Reserve building and he completely ignored it. A billion dollars! As Judge Jeanine says here, “we’re not talking about $1 million, $10 million, or even $100 million. We’re talking about $1 billion dollar cost overruns!”
Then out of nowhere, Jerome Powell released that video on social media the other night crying about political persecution.
This is not how someone who has nothing to hide acts.
These people think they are untouchable.

this is ironic because Trump is probably more experienced and qualified in the construction field than anybody else, and understands what is usual and customary, and $1B in cost over-run is a big red flag to him
It looks like the cost overrun is 500 million, not 1B. Trump signed off on the 1.9B renovations in his first term, but it's run up to 2.4B during the Biden years.
I'm not sure why anyone has to sign off on it at all, the fed uses its own money to fund the renovations. They make a ton of money on securities and fees for advising and managing other types of financial transactions.
