My retirement fund was mismanaged by the investment co. a while back and I lost a few hundred grand. The fund was pretty small to begin with and it's not going to last much longer.
I'm looking at getting into trading crypto currencies. I've got an out of state friend who sent me to a site to get started, but I really don't know what I'm doing.
Any informative links, guidelines, or point me to a board with other crypto traders who swap tips would be greatly appreciated.
I would look at silver it's been real money for thousands of years.
IMO buy Ripple XRP mainly, then Hedera HBAR, Stellar 'XLM. Use Uhold or Kraken to purchase and then buy a Tangem cold wallet to store it on. Also, Silver is expected to go into the hundreds this year. It's $90 now but I've hear $200-$300 and as high as $500. This is not financial advise. Do your own research.

You should stack at least 20% of what you want to invest - in gold & silver. It's real and you can hold it in your hand. No electricity, middle men or nonsense to deal with. I'm up over 500% in 10 years...A word to the wise.
Spot broke 94.
Noice!
Potential stackers on the fence: Even if you got in @ $79/oz you'd be up 19% right now!
What else has given that kind of return in recent history?
Quit slackin & START STACKIN!!!

👍 if you average in,you can buy the dip....
I'll continue to stack regardless of price.
Right now it's just starting to become Unobtanium with delays up to 6 weeks...
Not a big deal if you're only buying one Eagle or some dumb overpriced dragon round...
A bit unnerving if buying quantity tho...
Crypto will be sold,to cover silver shorts. IMAO
And I agree it would be very hard to buy physical right now. I would buy some and wait and then buy more as it goes up.
Or just buy mining stock. IDK
I was chatting with my brother around New Years and he told me a fellow he knows was going to gift a church some silver. This fellow is an old man who's been stacking silver for decades. My brother gave me a figure of how much the old man's stash was worth and I did some "back of the envelope" figuring and calculated that at that day's rate he had about a ton of silver. 2000 pounds of silver being gifted to a church. I told my brother to tell the old man to cash it in only when silver topped $100/oz. He chuckled at my suggestion that it would go that high. I told him it would go a lot higher, but the old man was Jonesing to get it to the church right now..... Oh well.

Thanks!
It is not a silver bullet ...
You could look into a combi of buying the digital asset and hedging it at perpetuals ...
And especially, it is not perse about the market, the analysis or even the type of analysis. It is about you, especially when you need to recover from a trade that went sideways, or you decided to wait a little longer or not long enough ....
No one else is to blame but you. So, that is your main course.
The rest is a matter of a little tech analysis, and timing, and knowing when enough is enough i.e risk management, and finally: liquidity management.
Trading is an art. So, consider any loss leaning money. Your skills will improve. Be very careful with FOMO: fear of losing out. There are always entries and exits. So set a goal for achieving a price difference for both long and short.
Take 1-3 coins (BTC, Monero, BCH), learn it well by focusing on 1 first, and take on a second later.. Get a feel for the rhythm. Watch it live. You'll see the breakpoints, the reversals, the speeding up, and the slow down.
Leave the coindesk twitter feed by the way side. most is junk, clickbait, emo/ fomo trap.
Get Tradingview.com app. Begin with the free one. A tech analysis tools I recommend: luxalgo smartmoney concepts, And I recommend paper trading first to get the hang of it.
Look into buying physical silver and hold it until it doubles or triples in price within the next few months.
Any recommendation for good places to buy silver in bulk?
APMEX, Silver.com, SDBullion, JDBullion, Scottsdale Mint etc etc etc
Shop it out.
I have ZERO brand loyalty. I want the most weight for least number of Federal Reserve Note Units. Period.
Prepare to wait up to 6 weeks for any reasonable quantity...today. That will go up the longer you wait.
