Basically, this kid is a super moron and is trying (and failing) to convince the rest of us that he's smart, and that he's figured out "why" all us whites are inherently racist. Which is, in and of itself, a racist belief on his part. So, he's trying to justify his own hatred of anything that doesn't look, act, or sound like him.
I got to know those people very well. It was far from being ghetto. It was a great experience for me and I was there for a couple of years. That may not be the case everywhere. I have been in some white congregations that were pretty messed up and left. So, I let the character of the people themselves dictate how I assess them.

Situations dictate character 99.9% of the time, until you are in a given situation the character being displayed means squat.
