That's what you get from a monarchy. There is no actual constitutional law protecting the people from the acts and excesses of the government.
It is my fervent wish that the people of Britain (and Eire too) rise up and overthrow the communist-controlled government and monarchy and adopt an actual set of laws strictly limiting the powers of government and its agents to protect the citizen's rights and freedoms.
I pray that our United States also returns to the path of righteousness.
