FYI, many churches have a security team. The ones in our area work with local authorities and the attendees who carry man the doors with radios, and have had castle doctrine explained.
They are all more than willing to act to protect the congregation. If this becomes a trend, it is only a matter of time before the example is made of these crazies.

My church has local pd during mass. I know several churches and basilica have them too.
