Now look into the conspiracy theory regarding Dupont losing its patent. It was all a hoax so they could roll to a new patent and ban anyone from producing the old formula. They have done this 3 or 4 times now stating environment damages. Capitalism to corner a market.
Someone mentioned this on this forum before, I believe. I remember the old one was called R-22 and the new is R-41 or something like that. Had to refit my car's AC system for the new type.
R-12 is the old automotive Freon. R-22 is the equivalent for a house a/c. Then came R-134a for a car and now there is R-1234yf
Yeah, I couldn't really remember the numbers. All I can tell you for sure is that it wasn't R2-D2.
