Guess what, i order all the time from amazon. Plenty of products i cant buy local. Delivered right to my door. All while im out doing other stuff i like to do with people. Stop whining like a professional reee clown.
You are exactly right. I'm very fussy about the supplements that I take and I have some good sources that I deal with online. I do grocery shopping twice a month. There is a small store fairly close by but they a total ripoff
I commented about this I another thread. Delivery drivers for UPS and other businesses are contacting drivers under 1099 IRS status. Hardly any driver can read in English and most now don't even speak any English at all. Most now present a State ID card that looks the same as a drivers license but it will indicate subtly that it is only a State ID card. ICE should look into the potential of illegals using this as another way to "stay low" and collect income.
Not as big of a deal as the media would like people to think.
UPS did the same thing last January. The tens of thousands of seasonal employees they always terminate after the new year are including in these figures.... they just never reported it until they had the opportunity to buy out contracts and convert more PT employees into flex drivers (drivers that are essentially back up... they get laid off from driving until needed and are given the opportunity to earn their time split between sorts at their facility).
So basically this whole announcement is a nothing burger. It gives the company the ability to manipulate their value publicly, ammo for contract bargaining between other carriers, and they'll buy out some of the higher seniority folks and those below in seniority will bid their jobs. Simple as such. Actually great opportunities for those that want to take the buyouts and also for lower seniority employees who will get to bid those positions.
Amazon for all you lazy cents. Oooooh , stay home and order everything on line instead of being real people making human contact
Some of us live a long way from town. I'm over 20 miles away.
I've raised 3 kids 10 miles out of a very small town. Never needed anything shipped

I wonder what people did before amazon
What's next? Mail in voting
Unfortunately that is what Oregon has. Hopefully that will change soon. I would drive a long ways to vote in person
Hey. Don't say that. Sometimes in small town, you cannot find what you need like homeopathic medicines and things like that. Jeez.

Where I live, you cannot get homeopathic except in Dallas TX. Even my holistic doctor is an hour away. I live under a rock.
In that case , I'll allow it
LOL. I have to drive 3.5 hours to get homeopathic medicine. Yeah. Not fun.
Bezos?? Amazon now has people delivering in their own cars, packages.
I have been seeing delivering by private cars a lot.
Nothing new. UPS has been doing this seasonally for at least 5 yrs now.
