Same here, never lost it. I have backup but I'd rather have it not go out.
My neighbor works for the power company here in NC and he says there are more outages in the cities where the karens don't want the trees trimmed. He said out here in the boonies real folks would rather have electricity so we don't bitch when they trim trees.
This is the first ice storm in the last 5 years here in my small East Texas town where I didn't lose electricity - or a single tree branch. My back yard had roughly 4 inches of packed ice on the grass. It was enough I could walk on it without cracking it.
I mean I had a power outage back in December for about 2 hours and it was in the 70s. No storm or wind - just beautiful weather. No idea how I didn't have one during this storm.
I hear you brother, haven't been able to get out of my driveway for a week.
We still have electricity, for which I thank God several times a day.

I used to live in a rural area here in Louisiana. Refusing to have trees trimmed around power lines is not an option lol.
